2017 – Appeared in 14 and started ten matches while recording 585 minutes in the backfield, splitting time between midfielder and defender in her rookie season...one of 15 lions to land on the MIAA Academic Honor roll (3.69 GPA).

High school: Belrose was a four-time letter winner at forward/midfielder/defender for the Bears of Ursuline Academy. She started for three of those four years on the varsity team after being the second leading scorer on the JV squad her freshman season. She helped the Bears to a top 6 area team ranking (2014-16), back-to-back Missouri State High Schools Activities Association (MSHSAA) Class 3 District 3 finalist in 2015 and 2016, and a St. Dominic tournament championship in 2016. During 2016, Belrose earned second team All-Conference honors in soccer and field hockey. Belrose also earned four letters in field hockey and one in basketball for the Bears all while earning second honors in academics.

Club: Belrose's team was always the same girls, but we changed clubs a few times. I started as Ajax, then Lou Fusz, and then J.B. Marine. We participated in the Midwest Regional League with J.B. Marine from 2012-16. In 2014, J.B. Marine was a state semi-finalist and a quarterfinalist in 2015.

Why I chose Southern: I liked the distance from home, size of school, facilities, coaches, teachers, programs, and town. I like that this school is close enough to go home but not too close. I like that this school is decently large for a division two school. I like the new field and weight rooms. I liked how often Chris would text me while I was being recruited, always checking in on me. I liked his coaching style and vision for moving forward. They have an amazing education program here and the teachers are so passionate about teaching and how much the students want to learn. I like how involved I have been able to be in the community and school.

Personal – Meredith is the daughter of David and Jennifer Belrose and plans to major in education at Southern.
