Making an Impression photo

Featuring prints alongside blocks, plates and tools used to make them, this display explores the varied techniques and rich effects of relief printmaking. It spans a 600-year history of Western printmaking, showcasing the work of craftsmen, pioneers and entrepreneurs, with objects ranging from medieval playing cards to contemporary fine art.
